Alvarado Street Brewery
Alvarado Street Brewery was founded by father-son duo John and J.C. Hill in March 2014. What started as a neighborhood brewery restaurant in Downtown Monterey has evolved into three locations dedicated to serving Monterey County’s locals and visitors alike. Our production brewery & tasting room opened in the Spreckels Junction area of Salinas in 2016. In early 2018, we opened our R&D pilot brewery and bistro in Carmel-by-the-Sea, known as the “Stro.”

Beers

Triple Cone
TIPA
The oiliest of the oily hoppy beers we make...'Hop Bomb' is cliche to describe this beer. It goes way beyond that - pungent, intense aromas of pineapple, freshly crushed gooseberry, orange pith and the whole spectrum of DANK blast through the glass.

Good 'N Fresh
WC IPA
Pale pilsner base, solid hot-side derived bitterness, thorough attenuation and a smack of high-impact hops. An absolute free-for-all between our prized Oregon-grown Strata, and our dearly beloved Nelson Sauvin. With Nelson's dank cousin, Waimea, throwing its weight around.

Contains No Juice
Hazy DIPA
Flagship Hazy Double IPA and Great American Beer Festival medalist! Not from concentrate. Although it’s certainly concentrated with a thoughtful mix of hop oils and thiol compounds which lend that signature over-ripe tropical blast of fruit flavor. All from hops and fermentation!
