Celebrating Bay Area Craft Beer & Breweries

The Bay Area Brewers Guild represents local independent craft breweries serving neighborhoods in every corner of the Bay Area, from San Francisco to East Bay, from North Bay to Silicon Valley, and on down the Coast.

The Guild and its members are leaders within our industry and throughout the region. Together, we work to promote independent Bay Area breweries, increase regional tourism and curiosity about craft beer, and strengthen local connections and communities.

SF Beer Week 2026 — Feb. 21 - March 1

The Bay Area Brewers Guild produces SF Beer Week, internationally recognized as the greatest Beer Week of all, and a singularly unifying celebration, inviting participation from craft venues across the greater SF Bay Area Bay Area, and including the Guild's own legendary showcases of the Bay's best (SFBW Fest, SFBW Opening Gala).

Over Beer Week's ten days, hundreds of craft beer events held at craft-loving venues — from neighborhood breweries to local restaurants, bars and bottle shops, specialty venues and festival — entice fans and the craft curious to sample special and rare releases, partake in fun and games, and generally toast craft beer and those indie craft breweries who make it all happen.

SF Beer Week returns in 2026, running Feb. 21 to March 1 — and we can’t wait!

Beyond Beer Week, whenever possible, the Guild works with members and partners on noteworthy events, collaborations and fundraising activities, which has included Brews on the Bay and The Freshtival festivals, CA Craft Beer Week, the Inclusion Beer and Inclusion Batch projects, and a UC Davis Continuing & Professional Education BABG Diversity Scholarship Fund. In addition, Guild members hold countless community events, collaborations and fundraisers throughout year. Sign up below to stay informed.
